Bosco’s Bites
About Bosco’s Bites
Bosco’s Bites is a social enterprise created by Thrive Support & Advocacy that provides meaningful employment and skill-building opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in our Community Based Day Supports Program. Inspired by
Bosco, a beloved therapy dog who brought joy, comfort, and connection to participants in Thrive’s Community Based Day Supports program, Bosco’s Bites continues his legacy through purpose-driven work. Participants help create, package, and distribute wholesome, hand-made dog treats while developing valuable vocational skills, building confidence, earning income, and contributing to their community. Every treat sold supports greater independence, inclusion, and opportunity for the people behind the product.

Play the Bosco’s Bites Game
What does it take to fill a Bosco's Bites order? Thanks to a special partnership with students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), you can find out through our interactive Bosco's Bites game. Players step into the role of a Bosco's Bites baker, preparing dog treats to meet customer orders while learning about the individuals with IDD who make the products and the skills they develop through the process. As you play, you'll discover how teamwork, attention to detail, and meaningful employment come together to create every bag of Bosco's Bites. The game offers a fun, hands-on way to experience the mission behind the treats—and see how every bite helps build a future.
