Thrive to Run Worcester Family Support Center

Dear Thrive Supporter,

The Thrive community is expanding, and we’re thrilled to share the news with you! The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) recently selected Thrive Support & Advocacy to manage the Worcester area Family Support Center. By taking on this role, we’ll be working with more than 600 new families in Worcester and seven surrounding cities and towns. We are honored that DDS recognizes Thrive’s commitment to the mission and look forward to bringing these families into the Thrive community.

Even with these new responsibilities, the organization’s promise of going above and beyond remains steadfast. From day one, our participants and their families have been at the forefront of all that we do and expanding our community will not change that focus. Thrive’s presence in Metrowest will remain strong as we continue to provide supports for Adult Companion-Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and non-ASD, One-on-One Respite, Group Respite, and DESE. Plus, the organization’s innovative adult and youth social and recreational initiatives will continue to create a social space for participants in Metrowest and beyond.
