Adult Companions may assist with shopping, community integration, and recreational and leisure activities. Some respite could be on regular basis as required by families of children with disabilities (Autism and Developmental Disabilities); ages vary from 4 years of age to adults. Hours are primarily on evenings and weekends.
Qualification: High School diploma, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Applicants must have the desire to provide support to developmentally disabled adults or children as they work toward achieving their maximum degree of independence. Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to obtain required First Aid, CPR and other offered Thrive trainings.
